The candidates are required to score marks equal to or more than their category cutoff to get selected for the exam. There are no such passing marks which can ensure selection. The candidates should note that there is a negative marking in the SSC MTS Tier 1 exam. The Commission introduced the negative marking in the SSC MTS exam.
