Additionally, candidates of other nationalities (e.g., Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugees, etc.) may be eligible under certain conditions, as specified in the official notification.The Staff Selection Commission mentioned all the important nationality conditions in its official notification. The candidates will be required to fulfil all these nationality requirements in order to apply for the SSC MTS application.

Candidates who are appearing in their matriculation exam can apply for the SSC MTS exam, but they must ensure that they fulfill the age requirement as mentioned in the official notification. SSC MTS exam is conducted online only as the Computer-Based Exam (CBE). The Commission conducts the SCS MTS exam every year to recruit candidates for the Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS). The Commission does not mention any limit to the number of attempts. The candidates can appear for the exam any number of times till they fulfil the age criteria. The Commission also provide age relaxation to the reserved category candidates.

The Commission conducts the Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST) for the Havaldar post. The Commission mentions the requirements for the PET/PST in the official notification. SSC MTS syllabus was revised by the Commission in the latest notification. The new syllabus has added various topics in each section of the SSC MTS paper 1. The paper 2 was removed from the exam. The names of the SSC MTS Paper 1 sections were also changed.The Commission mention the section names and the topic names of the section.
