The total number of vacancies for MTS and Havaldar positions in CBIC and CBN has been updated to 9,583. This includes 6,144 vacancies for MTS and 3,439 vacancies for Havaldar in CBIC and CBN, with the latter remaining unchanged.SSC MTS 2024 Notification has been released for 6144 vacancies of Multi-tasking Staff and 3439 vacancies of Havaldar. The selection of the candidates for the post of SSC MTS is based on Computer Based Examination.

Typing test is not mentioned compulsory for the SSC MTS exam. The Commission prescribes the following physical requirements for the SSC MTS exam. The Commission conducts the Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST) after the conduction of Paper 2. The candidates who opted for the Havaldar post are required to appear for the Detailed Medical Examination (DME). Both the PET/PST and DME are conducted by a designated authority other than the SSC. The Commission prescribes the following requirements for the SSC MTS PET/PST. Walking and cycling are some of the skills required for few selected posts.

The Staff Selection Commission released the SSC MTS Havaldar result 2023 on its official website - ssc.nic.in. The Staff Selection Commission released the SSC MTS cut off 2023 on 18th October 2023 for the SSC MTS and Havaldar posts along with the SSC MTS result. The Commission selected 4,380 candidates for the Physical Efficiency Test(PET)/Physical Standard Test(PST). The Commission will release the SSC MTS Havaldar PET/PST dates soon. The Commission released the SSC MTS Havaldar Cutoff 2023 with the official result. The Staff Selection Commission conducted the SSC MTS 2023 exam from September 1 to 14 at the designated exam centres.

The candidates should note that there is a negative marking in the SSC MTS Paper-I. For each correct answer, the candidates will be awarded 3 marks and for each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted. The SSC MTS 2024 exam dates have been released online on the official website - ssc.gov.in. The SSC MTS 2024 will be conducted online from September 30 to November 14, 2024. The regional website of the Commission released the SSC MTS Havaldar admit card 2024 on September 26 for the candidates having their exam on September 30. The Staff Selection Commission extended the SSC MTS Havaldar online application dates to August 3, 2024. The important dates regarding the SSC MTS exams are as follows:Registration date - 27 Jun–3 Aug 2024Paper 1 Admit card available - 23 Sept 2024Exam date - 30 Sept–14 Nov 2024

To verify the completion of SSC MTS registration, click on the link on official website of SSC. The main website of the Indian government has to be visited and go to the main tab for application status. To check status of the given application, applicants will be required to fill in the Registration Number and Date of Birth. This status will inform you whether your application has been successful or not in addition to details about your exam dates and venues. Usually it is released approximately 20 days prior to the test date and one can check the website for updates.
