The term stenography denotes the art of writing the spoken words at a fast speed for the purpose of later transcription into mails, letters, speech texts, etc., in Shorthand symbols or outlines or strokes. One who goes through the process of learning it in Pitman or any other system and makes use of it for a career is a Stenographer. Without learning shorthand, one can't be subjected to a stenography skill test.
