The age limit for applying in SSC GD (Staff Selection Commission General Duty) Constable Exam commonly is *18 years*.   If the application process is in *August* and you are turning *18 in October* you will *not be allowed* to apply unless you are already 18 at the time of the application. The SSC expect a candidate to be at least 18 years old as of the cutover date stated on the notice that we release for a given year for the respective examination.   If you are interested in applying then you would have to wait the next recruitment cycle after your eighteenth birthday. From time to time always check the official notices to make sure you qualify for the next examinations.

SSC Stenographer application correction window opened on August 27. The last date to make corrections in the application form was August 28, 2024. Candidates who wish to make corrections in the application form can do so by logging with the required credentials. Through the correction window, candidates can edit/modify the application parameters. Candidates will be allowed to re-submit applications after making requisite corrections/changes in the one-time registration/online application data as per their requirements. Candidates will be allowed to correct and re-submit their modified/corrected application two times. The Commission will levy uniform correction charges of INR 200 for making correction and re-submitting modified/corrected application for the first time and INR 500 for making correction and re-submitting modified/ corrected application for the second time. The correction charges will be applicable to all candidates irrespective of their gender/category.
