Congrats on getting such good marks. Well if you don't get in PSG then I would suggest SSN.
Well it's a wonderful college with some really good professors and placement training. Here these professors will motivate you to do something new all the time. Also the freedom that they give here is so nice that actually improves you in a much better way. The only downside is that I guess is the fees. It's a little high. It will cost around Rs.1.1 lacs to Rs.1.2 lacs if you get through counseling and Rs.1.4 lacs to Rs.1.5 lacs if you get it through management and if you are going to stay in hostel an additional Rs.55 k per year. Other than tha

Now taking about placements it's really good in SSN because now SSN has got that name that students from this college are bright and innovative thinkers. This time itself our college students got selected to go to Bosch and Hyundai and many other companies like Ashok leyland, TCS and many more companies come to our college for placements. Many college students go of abroad also. We have a placement percentage of around 90%.

Last year the cut off for MBC was 196.5 so you have a chance of getting mechanical through counseling itself. Fee structure is like this
If you get it through counseling it will come around Rs.1.1 lacs-Rs.1.2 lacs (without hostel) on top of that if you are the first graduate in your family then it will come around Rs.90k-Rs.1 lac (without hostel)
If you get it through management it will come around Rs.1.4 lacs-Rs.1.5 lacs (without hostel)
For hostel you need to pay an additional Rs.70k (approximately) All the best.

It's possible for you to get seat in mechanical but only through management but it depends on your caste(Typical caste system). So if you are OC you don't have any chance of getting it through counseling but if you are any other caste you have a damn good chance. So if you are OC you have to fill the form and then they will call you for an aptitude test followed by an interview. if you clear all that you will get mechanical. Fees structure (if you will get through management) is a little high. Every year you will have to pay around Rs.1.3-1.4 lacs. They take tuition fees plus special fees plus transport charges.
If you get it though co

Well it's a little tough. In our college they will give you grace five marks since your CBSE. But they need a minimum cut off of 195 so if you would have got 190 or even 189 it would have been much easier but nevertheless you fill the form and submit it. You might get selected but it is little tough. If you have any extra curricular activities you might get selected. By the way congrats and all the best.
