Hi. For management quota you should have applied with you MAT CMAT CAT scores. But for entering through government quota you need to appear for TANCET. After you appear for your june TANCET you have to go through the counseling process. All the best!

Hi, have you filled in the application form? If no, you can apply with your CAT, MAT or CMAT scores. If you meet the required eligibility criteria (MAT, CMAT 80 percentile, and CAT 60 percentile) you will get a mail regarding the GD and PI. You will get the mail quite in advance so you can plan your arrangements. In case you have not applied please make sure that you apply soon with your entrance test scores.

I came to know that SSN MBA programme is fully residential. I live in Chennai. Can I go home every weekend or is there any restriction?

Hi,
Yes, the programme is fully residential but you will be given four passes every month to go home on the weekends, there are no restrictions, in addition, MBA students also have the choice to go out daily for shopping, etc. If you want to but must be inside the hostel campus before 8 PM.

Is there 100% placements in SSN SOM? What is the lowest, median & the highest salary package?

Hi,
SSN SOM has a lot of opportunities, when it comes to placements. A lot of reputed companies visit our campus and it depends on the individual capability of the students to get placed or not. Percentage of placements in a particular year depends on the performance of the students. As far as companies, the college makes sure that a lot of companies come for interviews and getting placed solely depends on performance and companies expectations. The average salary is around INR 4 to INR 4.5 lacs and maximum is around INR 6 to INR 6.5 lacs.

Each institute has its own advantages and disadvantages. Please evaluate the institutes under your consideration from the perspectives of admission criteria and cut-offs being followed, faculty profile, alumni discussions and placement record. SSN takes only above 80 percentile MAT. If you wish, please try Feb MAT and upgrade your score.
