Hi, mostly reputed companies visit our campus every year and as it goes without saying, the individual skills and capabilities of the students will have an impact on their placements. The college throws a lot of opportunities to the students and it is in their hands to grab it to the fullest. As for the average package it is around Rs 4.5 lakhs per annum and the highest would be around Rs 6-6.5 lakhs per annum depending on the company. Many top companies like Deloitte, Zoho, HCL, TCS come for placements.

I suggest you should study I and II semester of the programme and decide about it. The exposure to functional areas is a must to understand your own pulse. Every specialization has its own strengths as well as weaknesses in terms of career and opportunities available in the market. But, many students have myths that have no value. The selection of specialization is a careful calibration that needs to be addressed after first year of your exposure to all the functional areas of management. Do not bother about it too much.

Dear Ms. Malini,
MAT results will come by Feb 28. Even if they do not come, apply with MAT hall ticket number. You can apply to our programme and later update the admission test score. You can also appear for any number of admission tests and keep us updating the scores till you get a call for GD/PI. You will get a call for GD/PI only if your scores are above the cut-off as explained by Ms. Srikrupa. Wishing you the best.

Dear Subasree, if you are looking for Government quota admissions, you can certainly wait for TANCET. However many students prefer SSN in specific and do not wait until TANCET. They are likely to appear for any of the all India admission tests as mentioned by Ms. Srikrupa and seek admission during the period December 2017-April 2018. We do have several rounds of GD-PI during these months as soon as the test results are announced for each of the tests. By April 2018, 75-80% of management quota seats get filled based on all India admission tests. The balance will be filled using TANCET 2018 scores. If you keep SSN as a specific target, w

Hi Shivani, I have never stayed in a hostel before I came to SSN so even I had similar confusions like what you have. But, do not worry the hostels has a decent infrastructure and well guarded. There will be absolutely no concerns about safety because securities are appointed throughout the day. The college doesn't have a lot of rules and regulations as such and believes in giving freedom to the students, however, there are basic rules that are to be followed like hostel curfew timings, ID cards, gate passes, visitors policy etc. Though it is a residential program, it gives adequate opportunities to explore both outside and inside the

Dear Yazhini,
The difference is not much in terms of placement record as you compare the average salaries across the schools. But the decisive factors are the ROI on your fee payment. Check on that aspect by comparing the fee structure and mapping it to your goals in the end. Chennai is a strategic location for most of the opportunities. SSN fee structure and SSN strategic location could be evaluated. I advise that you visit all the three schools and make an informed choice.
