Update yourself with current affairs. Make sure you are strong in your basics ( subjects learned in your UG course). If you have done any internship in your UG then brush up on the projects you have undertaken in your intern, as the questions will be asked on your learning from internship. Questions like , "tell me about yourself", questions related to your UG subjects, your projects will be asked. Your view on a particular current affair can also be asked. All these questions can be from general to specific and it depends on how well you encounter the questions posed to you. Basically your communication skills, conceptual skills will be tested up on, so make sure you communicate and articulate your answers well.

If you are applying through Government quota, then you have to wait for the rank list and the cut off to be published. And if you get your counseling slot on first then you can choose your college and get into SSN. If you are applying through management quota, then it depends upon your past year's academic performances and your performance in GD and personal interview. Since there is no difference in fee structure between Government quota and management quota , you can try applying through management quota also.
