St. Francis Institute of Technology accepts the GATE score for its M.Tech courses. GATE is the entrance exam applied to judge the candidates in different engineering disciplines for the majority of M.Tech courses at SFIT. Unless and until a candidate has a valid GATE score, they are not eligible for counseling and allotment of seats. Besides the score, the candidates with valid GATE scores get priority in admission. However, some institutes also screen their admissions based on the merit acquired in academics for specific M.Tech specializations.
