Yes, you can apply, but you have to give entrance for Christ College, as Christ College has entrance exam.

Does one need mathematics as a main subject in 10+2 or it can be done later on in order to apply for B.Sc. (Economics, Statistics)?

You don't require mathematics as a main subject in order to pursue B.Sc in Economics. But, for B.Sc in Mathematics and Statistics you need Mathematics as a main subject in 10+2.
