St. Peter's Engineering College has the minimum pass as a qualifying standard, but this bar is adjusted each year based on the scores of the EAMCET or JEE Main. The cutoff rank for EAMCET was almost 10000 – 15000 for the academic year 2022-2023 and JEE Main cutoff score was 60% – 70%. In percentage terms the college normally expect 50%-60% marks in the 10+2 examination for its undergraduate courses. For instance, the general category students who scored 55.6% in their examinations could seek admission to B.Tech in college in 2022 while 45.6% was for the reserved one.

Earning an admission into St. Peter's Engineering College may in fact be relatively easy since often much competition is encouraged through a large number of applicants competing for limited space. Every year the college get about 5000-6000 students applying for the undergraduate programme for which about 840 students are admitted. The admission process is depends on the candidate's Rank secured in Engineering Agriculture Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET or JEE Main) and their 10+2 exam marks. The college has a privilege of EAMCET rank of between 10,000 and 15,000 and has cut-off mark of per cent of 60% to 70% for JEE Main.

Yes, St. Peter's Engineering College provides a 100% scholarship in the college tuition fee to actual students who perform well in their 10+2 examination. For securing 98% of marks in 10+2 examination, the college offers full tuition fee concessions to the students. Also those students who have accumulated 95% to 97.9% may be granted 50 % tuition fee reduction. The college also provides scholarship of 25% tuition fee for those students who are scoring between 90% to 94.9%. Every batch, about 10 percentile students are given fully-exempted scholarship while the college offers scholarships of 1 crore Rupees annually.

The standard of food at the hostel mess is said to be good; they prepare different dishes to suit the numerous tastes and requirements of the people in St. Peter's Engineering College. The mess offers vegetarian as well as non vegetarian food which is a different menu planned for each day. The college employs competent chefs to prepare food nailed and cooked with a clean process and environment. The college offers good number of placements and salary offers to their students, and have shown a 90% placement rate for the past years at St. Peter's Engineering College. It has a very active industry interaction where more than 200 companies visit the college placement campus every year like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Infosys etc. The median salary for students is Rs 6.5 Lacs per annum and the largest salary going to Rs 18 Lacs per annum. Similarly, the college also says that 20% of students get salary above Rs 10 Lacs per annum, 50% students get salaries between Rs 5 Lacs and Rs 10 Lacs per annum.

Of course, an individual can be admitted into St Peter's Engineering College for B.E./B.Tech programme without TS EAMCET score but this is possible if he or she secures the management quota.
