Hi Nehru,
Total fees for the course is Rs. 1,16,000 in which Rs. 5,000 will be refunded at the end of the course.
And for hostel fee for 3 years :
For 1 seater : Rs. 251900
2 seater : Rs. 230300
3 seater : Rs. 223600
For Laptop Changing Rs. 7500 (approx.) Extra.
Here Rs. 9000 is refundable.
So, ultimately, you total fees would be Rs. 3,33,000 (approx.) assuming you will take the 3 seater room.
In more details, you have given your marks. Looking at those marks, I can tell you that it's almost impossible for you to get admission in this course. Unless you fulfil criteria of a reserved category.
I would suggest you to go through the website.
All the

Hi Subhamay,
Yes, it is available now.
I appreciate your interest and it has a similarity with mine.
Anyway, the unfortunate part is that you can hardly find any college or university which offers this course at UG level and even at PG level in India.
I would suggest that you pursue B.Sc in Mass Communication & Videography course at SXCKOL. It would help you a lot with your career. BA in Journalism is not a single course. Journalism is there in the said course and also with other BA honours courses, such as Bengali, English, Pol. Sc. & Sociology.
Best wishes for your HS result.
All the best.

Hi Avinash,
BBA at SXCKOL just got its new name, Bachelor of Management Studies, but everything else will remain the same.
Anyway, having Maths at +2 level is an important requirement for this course as you have it, you are eligible.
I would suggest that you go through this link:
http://www.sxccal.edu/admissions/SXCAdmission2017/UG2017/infoBMS.htm
It would show you the way of getting admission.
All the best.

Hi Kirti,
B.Com (Hons) in SXCKOL has eligibility criteria. According to that, a candidate applying for honours course must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks with 45% marks in at least four subjects including English and Maths/Business Maths/Statistics and must have passed in all subjects as per the respective board/council pass marks.
For applying to B.Com, Maths / Business Maths / Statistics is compulsory in HSC.
For applying to B.Com and BMS in the college (Park Street Campus), Maths/B.Maths/Stats is compulsory at +2 level for calculation of the aggregate.
However, for applying to B.Com and BMS at the University (New Town Campus), Mat

Hi Adrish,
For pursuing M.Sc in Computer Science, you have to have a honours degree in computer science, as long as I know.
You might have a good hold on it and taking a class from MIT OCW, but these are not fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
I would suggest you to pursue B.Sc in Computer Science after that you can do your desired course.
All the best.

Hi Abhinav,
There is no such course in SXCKOL.
Journalism is an ancillary subject with B.Sc in mass communication & videography and other BA honors degrees, such as Bengali, English, Pol. Sc. & Sociology.
