The Career Management Center support at Stanford Graduate School of Business includes one-on-one career advising, interactive workshops, facilitated peer group conversations. The support also includes access to the alumni network of Stanford GSB. The CMC also works closely with the employers as they develop recruiting strategies to recognize students who are going to become leaders driving innovation and impact in their organizations.

The job functions for MBA graduates of Stanford University includes Consulting, Finance, General Management, Marketing / Sales. In the Consulting sector, the job functions included Management Consulting and Operations / Implementation, in the finance function, the graduates went for the functions like private equity, venture capitalist, investment / portfolio management, etc. In the Marketing / Sales functions, the graduates went for functions like Business Development, Product Manager, Marketing / Brand / Growth Manager, etc.

In 2022, 96% of graduates received job offers by 3 months post-graduation. Around 84% of graduates accepted the job offer. Some of the industries where the MBA graduates were placed were Consulting, Healthcare, Finance, Healthcare, Technology, etc. If we talk about the locations where the graduates went after being employed then this includes Asia, Africa, Europe, North America.

Keeping in mind the difficulty students may face while preparing for and accessing admission testing worldwide, it has been decided by Stanford University that international undergraduate students applying for admission to Stanford University from Fall 2023 can take admission without SAT / ACT scores (Test Optional). Meaning, the decision to submit the scores will now be in the hands of the applicants as the university will review applications with or without standardized test scores.

Students are required to submit a common application online. Submit an application fee in order to submit the form. Documents required to submit with the application form are standardized test scores (if applicable), school report form and counselor letter of recommendation, official transcripts on academic results, letter of recommendation from two teachers, etc.
