These universities don't have a cut-off. It is understood that you must be academically very strong and must be an all-rounder. Afterall, they are world's topmost. If you are planning to study MS from these universities then please check their websites since the admission process is very different and also for some MS courses a Ph.D is compulsory. Go through the department specific websites, check the class profiles and prepare accordingly.

First of all for getting B Schools outside India you need minimum experience of around 5 years. Foreign B-Schools don't accept freshers. So first look into that. CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) is certifications for those who are looking to get into money/asset management. If you are looking to work as an equity research analyst of portfolio manager and other such jobs then CFA can help. But again there are 3 levels of CFA. For it to be of any use you need to clear at least two levels then only you would have enough knowledge to work as an equity research analyst or other such

Relevant publications and relevant project work is necessary, it may not be a full on research paper because you will learn to do research activities during your Master's degree or Ph.D. Your undergraduate project work should be related to research. Research papers are part of M.Sc and Ph.D so in due course, you will be able to produce quality research papers. They also require you to do some advanced courses in specific subjects depending on what you want to study. You can visit the university websites for details.
