You must have something special in your profile and must be an all-rounder. For a basic information, please mention what you want to study, whether bachelors or masters. To apply for Stanford, you must have decent grades. You can take SAT and must have excellent extra-curricular. For Oxford, you must have good academic grades, but SAT is not required. You must take IELTS or TOEFL. Since, the application process is online you have to check their websites.
