Yes. Of course one can pursue M.Tech after completing M.A. In Statistics. Candidates who obtains at least 60 percent marks in the aggregate in the qualifying examination M.A. Statistics from a recognised University are eligible for the admission. So after completion of M.A. Statistics and with a valid GATE score, you can study the M.Tech programs. You can take M.Tech Software Engineering or Computer Science & Engineering or Information Security or Computer Applications. The courses are available in various universities in India.

Lovely Professional University established in 2005 and recognized by UGC is one of the premier institutes of education in India.
The eligibility for M.Sc Statistics at LPU is pass with 60% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline) (with Statistics or Mathematics as a subject) or B.Tech. or B.E. or B.Sc. (Engineering) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST.

Dear student I have no clue about it. However, I can tell you about LPU NEST. LPU NEST means last qualification plus general knowledge, verbal ability, analytical ability and reasoning. To have an idea what LPU NEST question paper looks like go to the LPU NEST website. Check the previous year question papers, sample question papers, syllabus etc. That are available at LPU NEST website. This will give you a fair insight into the exam pattern and help you prepare for the test better. The aim of conducting the test is to check how far the concepts are clear to the student.
