Some colleges may choose to conduct a separate personal interview. Selection at institutes which grant merit-based admission is based on marks scored in best four subjects in 10+2. Thanks.

The combination you are wanting is what I'm pursuing presently. This is offered in many colleges like
St. Xavier's College-Mumbai and Christ-Bangalore. These are the top ones. I'm in Xavier's right now. There you need to be dropping one subject every year and you major in one of the subjects in the 3rd year. But, Xavier's does not provide economics in the 2nd or 3rd year for B.Sc Students.
