No, becuse the Central University of Jharkhand is government and student get more benefits better than Stella Maris College. And almost all faculties is experienced and college environment is excellent.

The cutoff for admission to Stella Maris College is usually around 90% or higher. The eligibility criteria are: General Category: 85% OBC Category: 82% SC Category: 80% ST Category: 78% PH Category: 75%

In this academic year cutoff is 240+ mark required but cutoff mark can be vary from year to year. 85% requirement in each paper. Also if you are planning to take a leave you have to inform the class teacher or H.O.D. ( depends on the department). It is extremely strict. If it is a medical reason you can pay certain amount of fee and write the paper. Else you'll have to repeat the semester.
