MBBS degree from Medical Universities in Germany is valid in India. Indian students who have completed their MBBS in Germany must appear for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) or MCI screening test conducted by the MCI to obtain a license to practice medicine in India. Students who have completed their MBBS in Germany are eligible to take the screening test if they have completed the programme in a recognised university and have obtained a medical license in Germany.
