After the SUAT seat allotment is announced, the candidates will have to confirm their admission before the final date. To confirm the allotment, the candidates will have to report to the University, submit their documents and pay the required tuition fee. SUAT admission cutoff will consist of the minimum merit score that the candidates will have to secure to have higher chances of admission into their preferred course. The authorities will prepare the admission cutoff to select candidates for allotment of seats. However, it is to be noted that the candidates will not be guaranteed admission if they meet the cutoff. These candidates will have higher chances of admission, but other factors will also be considered for admission.

While preparing the SUAT cutoff, the authorities will consider various factors related to the entrance exam and admission process. Some of the important factors that will be considered are the total number of qualified candidates, total number of available seats for admission, total number of candidates who applied for admission, previous years' cutoff trends, difficulty level of the entrance exam, etc. After all of the factors are considered, the SUAT cutoff will be prepared.

There will be no difference in the SUAT qualifying cutoff across all categories. All candidates, irrespective of their category, will be required to obtain a minimum of 35% marks to be qualified for the SUAT counselling and admission process. However, the admission cutoff of SUAT will be different for every category and course selected by the candidates. Reserved category candidates are expected to have a lower admission cutoff than the general category candidates.
