Anchoring, wow, its a great area to make a career, but you need to have patience for getting success so early in this field. Firstly, you have to good command on language Hindi and English both. Just do stage shows, events which can boost up your confidence and make you comfortable with audience. But dear, its really to hard come in front of camera as anchor, because before coming, you have to great knowledge of subject for which you are going for anchoring. Because just try to read out the history or media experience of famous anchor of news channel. Then you will come to know about the challenges for anchoring and reality of the media industry. But seriously its a great option as career. Because anchoring is not limited to only news channels.

Dear, According to my experience, I always suggest for a job to the students of mass comm after the graduation or Masters or other course. Because no one campus can give you actual industry exposure in their premises only which you can get in industry during your job. Even with you job, you can continue your higher study on distance learning. Because our media industry wants practical experience. It doesn't matter either you qualify your exams of degree through regular course or distance one. So if you already done a course related to media one, then I suggest you should move for job only and take admission on distance learning from any university of India or other one.
