Here is the criteria to enrolled in the courseCandidate must have passed ME/ M.Tech/MS by Research/5 year integrated Masters/Dual Degree in relevant Engineering/2 year M.Sc from IITs (entry through JAM) with CGPA 8.0 and above. For B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering at IIIT Surat, students will have to give JEE Mains examination. The last cutoff rank for general was around 85 thousand. You may also decide to pursue your B.Tech in ECE with VLSI specialisation if you've reached the level of 87 thousand or more.

A master's degree in relevant field with at least 55 % marks is required to be eligible for the doctoral programme of applied physics offered by IIIT Surat. Entry tests and interviews shall also be part of the admission process.
