The cut- off of XAT varies from year to year depending on a number of factors like the number of participants, difficulty level of the exam and the number of seats available at the time of admissions in the college. The previous trends of XAT shows an increasing percentage of marks consecutively. The percentile has raised above 80% for the General category depending on which the qualifying marks for SIMMC (Suryadatta Institute of Management and Mass Communication) will also be affected. 75% is a good percentile for admissions to SIMMC, however, it depends on the current year’s marks trends and you have to wait for the college to release the cut- off list.

There are 180 seats on which admissions are done based on the previous qualifying exam score, entrance test score as well as the performance in the Group Discussion and Personal Interview round. The minimum percentage required by a candidate in XAT depends on the current year’s students’ performance. However, for the past years, the XAT cutoff has remained above 80% and has been increasing every year.
