There are only 2 courses available to pursue at Suryadatta Institute of management and mass communication which are MBA/ PGDM and MCA. Out of these 2 courses, MBA is the best course. This is because, MBA is the most demanded course of this Institute and have 2 different specialities available to pursue. The median salary of this course is also higher than MCA. Although both of these courses are good in their respective fields. The ranking of MBA course is also better than MCA, it was ranked #35 by times 2023. The students should choose the final courses according to their interest only.

The minimum marks that SIMMC (Suryadatta Institute of Management and Mass Communication), Pune requires for admissions to MBA is 50% (45% in case of reserved category) in graduation from any discipline form a recognised board/ university. Besides this, the cut- off of different entrance exams will vary depending on the one you have appeared for among CAT/ MH- CET/ CMAT/ XAT. The cut- off of these exams varies hugely and based on the previous percentage trends you can make predictions of the upcoming marks/ cut- offs. However, you cannot rely completely on that as there are other guiding factors affecting the admissions.

SIMMC (Suryadatta Institute of Management and Mass Communication), Pune cut- offs are released on the official website of the college during the time of admissions. The college offers MBA, MCA and Ph.D.  courses with different specializations. If you have registered for any of the courses, you will be notified about the cut- off release and it may also be mailed to you. On the other hand, you can also check the list under the admissions section or it will be flashed on the home page of the official website as an important information.

The cut- off of XAT varies from year to year depending on a number of factors like the number of participants, difficulty level of the exam and the number of seats available at the time of admissions in the college. The previous trends of XAT shows an increasing percentage of marks consecutively. SIMMC (Suryadatta Institute of Management and Mass Communication), Pune offers admissions to MBA on the basis of different criterion. One of the criteria mentioned for admissions is the cut off marks of exams such as MH- CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test)/ CAT/ CMAT/ XAT. All of these are national level entrance test exams for admissions to different courses (specially management courses). Candidates who haven’t appeared for any of these but are planning to do so in the near future can also apply for admissions.

Established in the year 1999, the college has been ranked as an ‘A’ category among Top 50 B- Schools in India for 21 consecutive years as well as ranked in Platinum category for 6 consecutive years by AICTE- CII Industry Linked Technical Institutes 2020. SIMMC is more expensive than Jayawantrao Sawant Institute of Management depends on several factors such as types of programs and their fees offered by the institutes.SIMMC offers two programs: MBA and MCAMBA fee (2 years): 5.9 L to 6.9 LMCA fee (2 years): 1.3 LThe median salary offered by this institute is INR 6.5 LPA.Jayawantrao Sawant Institute of Management offers only MBA programme that costs 1.8 L for 2 years.
