The Sri Vekateshwara veterinary university admission procedure for all the courses at Under Graduate, Post Graduate and research level is entrance-based. For Under Graduate courses, students need to clear the state-level entrance examination. The students must give the examination of NEET to secure a seat. For OBC category the cutoff would be around 450, 380 for SC category, 320 for ST category. The Andhra Pradesh EAMCET is the exam for PhD.The students need to appear for a Personal Interview (PI) as well for the admission in sri venkateshwara veterinary university.

The minimum marks required to get a seat at Sri Venkateshwara veterinary university is 50% in their subjects. A student under general category to get the seat to the BVSc & AH degree course must have passed in each of the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology and at least obtained 50% marks in aggregate of these subjects to qualify the examination.

The latest cut off of 2023 for Sri Venkateshwara Veterinary University for B.Tech. is based on Andhra Pradesh EAMCET scores of the students. The last round closing rank of 2023 B.Tech. was around 16922 for B.Tech Electrical and Electronics engneering, 17500 for B.Tech Civil Engineering, 28628 for B.Tech. Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University is a state university, recognised by UGC and is located at Tripati, Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh. SVVU was established in 2005 by the government of Andhra Pradesh unnder Act no. 18 of 2005 under section -2(f) of UGC Act.It offers UG, PG, PhD and Diploma courses. The unversity has  26 courses across 2 streams. The university has 100% placement cell and it is accredited by NAAC with an 'A+' grade. the overall rating of Sri Venkateswara Vaterinary unversity is 4.4 out of 5 at shiksha from the 19 verified students of that unversity.

To get admission in Sri Venkateswara veterinary university students should passed 12th standard with 50%  marks in aggregate with these subjects (physics, chemistry, biology and English). Admission will be provided at UG and PG on the basis of merit qualification marks in the entrance exam. List prepared on the basis of merit. For the course of BVSC  you have to appear in AP EAMCET and for the B.F.Sc and B.E. /B.Tech courses you need to give the exam of ICAR AIEEA. For M.E./M.Tech AP PGECET exam is accepted. Admission will be granted on the merit qualification marks in these exams for the respectictive courses.

Sri Venkateswara Veterinary university is a great choice for students as it accredited by NAAC with an "A+" grade. SVVU is public university which offers UG, PG, PhD and Diploma courses. The university ranked 60th in the unversity category by NIRF in 2023. Sri Venkateswara Veterinary university offers 3 years UG course where as Apollo College offers 5 years UG Course. The overall rating for SVVU is 4.2 but for Apollo college is 4.3 in terms of placement, Infrastructre campus and other criterias. Also as compared to their eligibility criterias its only 45 percent required in SVVU whereas its 50 percent vice versa.
