Yes, SRTMUN conducts an entrance exam for admission to PhD course. The university conducts PET in pen and paper mode at three centres, namely Nanded, Latur and Parbhani. The entrance test is conducted for two hours and includes section-A and section-B. Section-A is related to research methodology and includes 50 questions. Section-B is subject specific and includes 50 questions.

Yes, SRTMUN offers a PhD programme at the doctoral level. Candidates who have passed a two-year master's degree after a three-year bachelor's degree with at least 55% aggregate can apply for SRTMUN PhD course. There is a relaxation of 5% in the aggregate for SC/ ST/ VJ/ NT/ OBC. The selection for PhD is based on entrance test conducted by the university.

Government of Maharashtra offers Eklavya PG Scholarship to SRTMUN PG students. Candidates need to secure a minimum of 70% in Science stream and 60% in Arts, Commerce and Law stream in the degree examination to apply for the scholarship. Besides, the combined annual income of the student and his or her parents/ guardian for the previous financial year should be less than INR 75,000. Aspirants must also secure a minimum of 50% in the first year of PG course for the renewal of the financial assistance for second-year of the PG degree.

Candidates need to pay an application fee of INR 1,500 to register for PhD course at SRTMUN. Aspirants belonging to SC/ ST/ PwD categories have to pay an application fee of INR 1,200.
