UNSW Sydney is an internationally recognised university in terms of its ranking although this may differ with ranking agency used. In the 2025 QS World University Rankings, UNSW Sydney remained at the rating of 19 while Victoria University was at the 29th position, out of 30 universities in the top 100 in the world Fleming et al .
