There was a WhatsApp group for everything, state-wise groups, city-wise groups, sports groups- you name it, and there was a group for it. Everyone was excited to know more about their batchmates; late-night video calls were the only way to do it, so we made the most out of it.Later, when the course commenced, a typical day began with morning lectures at 9:30 am with breaks of 10–15 minutes, which continued until 1 pm. The visiting faculty at SCMHRD is good at their subjects if you pay attention to them.Then post-lunch, the lectures continue till 4 pm. After which, we continue with our committee work which forms the exciting part of the day. This is an arena where you learn the most and share with each other how the college is going so far.You do not get to sleep much, but you’ll embrace the hustle.""First of all let's get this straight that MBA life is hectic but difficult. Hectic because you are always loaded with assignments, PPTs, tests, exams and stuff. Not difficult because I think the difficulty part gets over as soon as you crack the entrance, clear the GDPI and take addmission. From there you can just go with the flow and after one semester you will have your own tricks, methods and ways of understanding the subject, clearing the exams and handle the faculty members, staff and your owe college mates. It is all about how you manage people and play your cards. Coming to the hectic part, YES. It is hectic. There are times when we would have classes from 8 am to 9 or 10 pm or 11 sometimes in the evening and then preparing for the tests, evaluations or exams the very next day. Same was the case with HRD guys. Amidst all this, you will have to manage your respective committees, sports groups, tournaments, arts, drama group, college band and  alot more. Preparing for fests, guest lectures and boy, if you are a part of the placement cell then clearly you'll have to plan your meal time also. During the fest season, you'll work for it and also you'll find yourself giving 6 7 evaluations per day which lasts for a month or so. Then once the placement season starts you will have to divide your focus and concentration between your job preparations and your daily routine at the Campus and clearly there is no running away. You cannot. But it is fun too, all the extra curricular that you do and take part in helps you create memories for life, makes you a better person and also helps taking your mind off studies and thus help you in chilling out !Once a Symbian always a Symbian"

The final report for SCMHRD Placements 2023 has been published. According to the report, the highest package offered at SCMHRD was INR 67.60 LPA, while the average package stood at INR 23.71 LPA. A total of 112 recruiters participated in the placement drive, including 38 new recruiters. Prominent recruiters included Accenture, Adobe, Barclays, Bandhan Bank, CISCO, Capgemini, Cognizant, and more. These recruiters represented various sectors such as BFSI, Consulting, IT/ITES, Manufacturing/Automotive, Conglomerate, FMCG/FMCD. Students were offered diverse job roles like Associate, Business Analyst, Consultant, Product Manager, Risk Manager, among others.The Summer Placements report for batch 2021-23 at SCMHRD has also been released. The highest stipend offered was INR 3.50 Lakhs per month, specifically for MBA BA students. Over 81 companies visited for summer placements this year.

SCMHRD placements in 2022, highlight that the highest percentage of recruiters participated from the IT/ ITES sector, followed by BFSI and Manufacturing sectors. The average domestic package offered was 35.50 Lakhs per annum and the highest international package offered was 61.50 Lakhs per annum. IT/ITES sector was the largest recruiter with 19% of the total number of recruiters participating in campus placements at SCMHRD during 2022-23. The BFSI sector was the second major recruiter at 16% of the total number of recruiters who participated in the placements process this year. The Manufacturing sector was the third the biggest recruiter at 15% of the total number of recruiters who participated in the placement process at SCMHRD during 2022-23. Logistics & Supply Chains had a low number of recruiters in SCMHRD placements in 2022 compared to previous years. Only 1% of the total number of recruiters participated in the placement process at the institute this year.SCMHRD has released the summer placement report for batch 2021-23. The highest stipend offered was INR 3.20 Lacs for 2 months and was made to MBA BA students. 65+ recruiters participated in SCMHRD Summer Internship Placements 2023. Marketing firms dominated the placement drive among all the sectors. Students received the highest stipend of INR 3.20 Lakhs for 2 months, the average stipend stood at INR 1.90 Lakhs for 2 months & the median stipend stood at INR 1.70 Lakhs for 2 months.
