Why to worry, if you believe that you will crack the entrance?
If two students score the same in the test, grades of class 12th are compared of the two and the one scoring the higher is given preference. The interview and the GD are also be kept in mind.
Once you get into a good college, your class 12th grades hardly matter. They will only matter during placements. Companies compare between two students based on their performance in college and, if needed class 12th grades are also taken into consideration.

Symbiosis-Pune is excellent for Mass communication. This college has a separate school for Mass Media studies. Placements are fairly good. You can always trust this course, if done from the right college.

It depends upon the exam and the course you are applying for. Since you have tagged Mass communication, I am assuming you are interested in it. Basic level Maths up to class 10th comes in every exam, be it HM or BBA or your Mass Communication.
Topics like percentage, ratios, time and speed come up. So, even if you don't have Maths in class 11th and class 12th, I am sure you will be able to crack it.
