The confirmed dates of the exam are not out yet, but tentatively the online registration starts in the month of January-February and the exam takes place in the month of May.

Hi Niru!
The IPS exam is conducted by UPSC. The IPS service is divided into various functional departments such as Crime Branch, Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Home Guards, Traffic Bureau. In order to be eligible for the exam, one has to be a graduate in any stream from a recognized University and should be an Indian citizen. Other eligibility criteria includes:
1. Age: Minimum age 21 years, Maximum age 30 years as on 1st of August in the year of examination.
2. Physical Criteria for women: Minimum height- 150cm, minimum chest girth- 79cm, Myopia (including cylinder) should not exceed minus 4.00D, Hypermyopia (including cylinder

Symbiosis is one of the most reputed institution in terms of celebrating its uniqueness in maintaining a course of MA in mass communication and MBA in communication as well. So, yes! Symbiosis definitely have a post-graduate course in mass communication.
The duration of the programme is of 2 years distributed much into 4 semesters of equal syllabus partition and a lot of project activities involved within the course.
