While some are interested in your previous job profile irrespective of number of months or years you have worked. This year some fresher's and candidates with less experience got better package than those have 2+ year experience.It solely depends on the company and the candidate.

Analytics is not limited to telecom sector. Manufacturing, FMCG, service sector everyone will needs analytics for business intelligence and improvisation. Once you specialize in analytics a lot of doors open for you in terms of career scope.

Average package is Rs 8.83 lakhs for 2015-17 batch placements. Out of which the average package is Rs 7.2 lakhs approximately. There is no differentiation between marketing and systems during final placements and hence the figures for marketing and finance aren't available separately. Analytics and Finance is the new specialization introduced which is of great demand in ICT domain.

There are lot of students currently who have done NBA and B Com in both the batches. If you have interest in technology you won't find the course difficult. We have systems and finance as well as marketing and finance. Marketing stream is more general compared to systems.
It is perfectly fine to opt for SITM irrespective of your graduation specialization. The faculty here will help you out specially.

It depends on which specialisation you opt for.Here we have Systems and Finance ,Marketing & Finance and a newly introduced specialization called Analytics & Finance.
To get a call from SITM you need to have 72 percentile, but if you have a relevant experience or an impressive CV you could be called for a lesser score too.

Yes. Absolutely. But you will have to furnish your migration certificate and degree certificate as soon as your results are out. The classes will start in June. There is a new batch of Analytics and Finance opening up which is first of its kind in BSchools all over India and has a wide scope for future.
