Following the release of the SET result, the participating institutes release the SET cutoff. The SET scores are accepted by the 10 esteemed Symbiosis Institutes. These institutions accept SET results for a range of undergraduate degrees. Every institute and course has a distinct SET cut-off. Each participating college or institute's official website will have access to these cutoffs. In order for applicants to be admitted to their selected institute, they must meet the cutoff of the SET exam that they took.

Yes, the students can appear for the SET exam more than once. During the SET registration process, candidates are asked if they wish to appear for the first session, the second session or both the sessions. Candidates can choose as per their convenience and mark the checkbox in front of the test date. The SET exam 2025 will be conducted in the second week of May 2025, tentatively, in the computer-based test mode. Having said that, students applying for the SET exam must make sure they fulfil the eligiblity criteria and age requirement for the SET exam.

The tentative dates for SET 2024 is during the first or second week of May 2024. The registration is most likely to begin some months prior to the examination, followed by application process. Candidates should list all the institutes that they are aspiring to be in through SET and choose them during their registration process. The registration process will be notified to Candidate's through official website of SET .
