BArch at Symbiosis School of Planning Architecture and Design is a five year undergraduate, full time course. The course is offered in regular mode and it is designed by the council of Architecture the legal statutory body of India. SEED is a design aptitude test that examines color, geometry, visual observations, creative thinking abilities, general design awareness, awareness on Indian culture, craft and traditions etc. The question paper consists of 150 objective questions of one mark each with no negative marking. BDes at SSPAD is a four year course offered under the Faculty of Architecture and Design. On successful completion of the course, candidates are awarded degree by the  Symbiosis International (Deemed University) (SIU), Pune. For admission to the course, candidates must have completed their class 12 in any stream with a minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). Eligible candidates are required to appear for the SEED entrance exam. The main aim of the course is creating professionals who can compete in the highly dynamic world of design. The course is offered in two specialisations and they are Communication design and Industrial design.

The BDes course admission relies on the candidate's performance in the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED), which is set for January 12, 2025. To apply for the exam, candidates must complete the online application form and submit the application fee of INR 3250. After that, they must participate in the entrance exam on the specified date. The results of the entrance exam will be published on the SSPAD website. Eligibility for the SSPAD's portfolio review and personal interaction round will be determined based on the exam scores. Final admission decisions will take into account SEED scores, portfolio review, PRPI, personal interaction, and the candidate's chosen specialization.
