Syracuse University offers a number of engineering programs through its College of Engineering & Computer Science. The Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2023, ranked Syracuse University #401-500 for its engineering programs. The U.S. News and World Report 2023 ranked Syracuse University #47 for its Aerospace Engineering, #69 for its Civil Engineering and #63 for its Computer Engineering programme in the country.

Syracuse University has been accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE or Middle States), which is an institutional accrediting body recognised by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, since 1921. Once the application form is filled out and submitted with all the necessary documents. Applicants are required to pay an application fee for processing their application form. The Syracuse University application fee for applying to undergraduate programs is USD 85, whereas, for applying to postgraduate programs the application fee is USD 75 for international students. This is a non-refundable fee, i.e., it will not be refunded once paid to the university.
