Learning Tally would not help you to get higher salary after MBA. Even class 12th pass out are too aware of the tally and are working on it. So, I wouldn't suggest you go for it. However, if you really want to shoot up your career to a high level after MBA (I am assuming you are doing MBA in Finance) then you need to start learning something relevant. Tools & Software like MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word should be at Advanced level. Further, you need to start learning to the programme (preferably Python and R), for statistical mechanics in SAS software. Additionally, for higher career prospects, you can add the skills

Tally software learning not a part of the syllabus. So Tally is not at all important in your studies. But if you want to work as an accountant, or as a finance professional, Tally knowledge is highly desirable, because many of the businesses implement Tally ERP 9 as their accounting or business administration software. Nowadays, Tally is a complete payroll software, so you will need it if you want to be an HR professional also.
