As per my analysis, due to recent advancement in the field of Bio-Technology, the Molecular Biology and genetic engineering domain promises to create a research oriented and placement oriented environment. I may not be able to clarify the offerings of other Universities, but being gratified alumni of Lovely Professional University, I managed to fetch some of the unique highlights of School of Bio-Technology & Bio-Sciences, LPU. LPU Becomes the First Private University to be Granted ICAR Accreditation. Let me share the placement insights as that would clarify the things to you. Due to ICAR accreditation large numbers of companies are visiting the campus. More than 44, 46 and 43 renowned firms and industries are on board for on campus and off campus drive in 2018-19, 2019-20 and 2020-21 respectively. Around 90% of the students getting placed every year. Among the drive conducted the major associates were with Syngenta pvt. Lmt. , Tata Rallis India, Bioseed, Emami, GSR, IFFCO, Dhanuka, ITC, Relience Agr. Retail, Uniborn, HDFC Bank, Intellow lab, WIPRO, with maximum package offer of 5.68 Lacs.
