 A good score in CLAT 2025 for an OBC candidate will be 80-90+ marks. On the other hand, SC and ST candidates can secure a seat in top NLUs with a CLAT 2025 score of 75-85 marks without domicile reservation.

Yes, Tamil Nadu National Law University (TNNLU) accepts CLAT scores for admission to its law courses, including BA LLB (Hons), BCom LLB, BBA LLB at the UG level, and LLM at the PG level. The admission to the courses is solely based on the marks scored in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).The minimum required eligibility to apply for these programmes is a pass at the 10+2 level with a minimum of 45% marks, and a valid CLAT score. The upper age limit is 20 years for unreserved categories, and 22 years for reserved categories.some law schools in India admit students without requiring them to take law entrance exams.

Tamil Nadu National Law University offers BA LLB (hons) seats based on merit, subject to rules of reservation, through the Common Law Admission Test only. TNNLU follows the the Tamil Nadu government's seat reservation policy to distribute seats among the special category. The seat intake for Tamil Nadu National Law University Tiruchirappalli BA LLB (Hons) course is around 60 seats. The seats are offered only to students who are shortlisted for CLAT 2025 admission process. Shortlisted candidates just have to pay the course fee and finalise the seat.

Corporate and Securities Laws, Intellectual Property Laws, and Natural Resources Law are the three LLM specialisations offered at Tamil Nadu National Law University. LM is a full-time programme that lasts one year. The postgraduate level course is also offered full-time and has two academic semesters. LLM at TNNLU is offered under the UGC Guidelines 2012 following the semester pattern.
