Application Process for BA- LLB (Hons) at TNNLU is suject to the CLAT 2025 application process, which is conducted in online mode. Follow the steps for the application process:Registration - The candidate could register by entering their name, mobile number, and email id. Also, select and confirm a password for the newly created applicant account. Login - Log in to access the application form.  Select the programme of study - After logging in, the first thing was to select the programme of study 5-year LLB or one-year LLBFill the form - There were different fields like personal information, communication details, qualifying examination status, exam centre preferences (THREE centres can be selected in the order of preference), and reservation. All fields needed to be filled. Check what all documents were needed to be uploaded in the prescribed specification (refer to the table below). 

As per the admission guidelines sanctioned by Tamil Nadu National Law University Tiruchirappalli, direct admission to any of the offered courses by the university is not applicable. Students must take the CLAT 2025 entrance exam for admission to its BALLB course. The Common Law Admission Test, known as CLAT, is a national-level law entrance exam conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs).To secure admission in the BA LLB (Hons) programme, candidates must first have valid eligibility criteria: Class 12 from any recognised board with minimum 45% marks or equivalent grade (40% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes). Eligible candidates can apply for the CLAT 2025 exam by registering on the official website of TNNLU. Once the application process is completed the CLAT admit cards are released and the exams are conducted on the scheduled dates. After the exam candidates must participate in the counselling process of CLAT 2025. Candidates who will accept the allotted seat need to upload all the required documents on the official portal. After that candidates, will be required to pay the admission fee to confirm their seats within a stipulated deadline. 

Yes, Tamil Nadu National Law University does offers BA LLB (H) at undergraduate level lasting for five years. The law programme is approved by Bar Council of India  (BCI). The undergraduate programme was commenced in 2012 and is offered in a regular mode. The BA LLB is a regular honors degree offered as a rigorous residential programme.TNNLU BA LLB (Hons) admission is based on merit, subject to rules of reservation, through the Common Law Admission Test. Additionally, candidates must go through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) counseling process conducted by CNLU for final seat allotment. 

For a duration of 1 year, the fee is around INR 168000 and this is inclusive of all, even hostel charges. So, if you are not a hostel inmate, the amount may vary slightly. It is pretty expensive for a one year course.Law colleges with the lowest fees in India consist of colleges like NLU Delhi, NLU Jodhpur, Gujarat National Law University Gandhinagar, National Law University Cuttack etc. Law Colleges with the lowest fees consist of top colleges like NLU, GNLUS, Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai etc.Fee structure and facilities: The yearly fee for my LLB wa around Rs. 1500 and the total fee for my whole course duration of 3-years was around Rs. 4000. The fee was very much feasible and affordable for me.

Nalsar University of Law has a strong reputation, particularly for its law programs, faculty, and placement opportunities. It has consistently been ranked among the top law schools in India. The university is known for its rigorous academic curriculum, experienced faculty members, and excellent infrastructure.On the other hand, Tamil Nadu National Law University is a relatively newer institution compared to Nalsar, having been established in 2012. The number of students getting placements in TNNLU is relatively low,30 percent of students are placed every year.But, in the last 2-3 years, the scenario is changing. A lot of law offices have visited the campus for their recruitingStudents are getting placed in reputed Tier-1 firms such as Trilegal, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, Lakshmi Kumaran & Sridharan, etc. Alumni of the TNNLU are working as professors, judicial clerks, advocates of the Supreme Court as well as High Courts, and legal officers in banks and many students opt for higher education from Indian and foreign institutes. The university has a specific Internship and Placement Cell that works for providing a wide of opportunities to students.
