Cultural HappeningsAt Madurai Kamaraj University, we believe that in order to improve our students' talents, they must be given opportunities to express their creativity. Cultural programmes are held numerous times a year to stimulate creative endeavours and to cultivate talent. Students establish groups and share responsibility for event planning.Dance: Dance is one of Madurai Kamaraj University's most active and diligent clubs. It has over a hundred members. Members perform a variety of dance styles such as hip-hop, Hollywood, salsa, folk dance, classical, freestyle, and modern, among others. The Dance Club operates on the basis of learn, teach, and perform.Music: The Music is a location where students can jam, learn, and create music of all styles. Throughout the year, the club hosts a variety of activities ranging from huge intra-campus shows to competitive musical competitions. Club of Fine Arts Art is intended to be a natural part of life. Madurai Kamaraj University's Fine Arts Club assists its members in developing an artistic sense. Films, Animation, and Media The club provides a venue for anyone interested in learning more about animation. The club's activities include creating 3D models with various software and creating short animated films (both 2D and 3D). We work with a variety of technologies, including 3ds Max, Toon Boom Animate Pro, Adobe Flash, Premier Pro, boujou, and others.

If you are an outsider, meaning not from Tamil Nadu, then first try to learn the language very well. If other way around, then try to learn English well (no offence).Don't take exams for granted. Don't take grades for granted.As everyone else said, maintain a 75% attendance else you'll get a recourse.Join the gym in mutthaiya nagar. Trainer/owner is a champion in bodybuilding. Joining a gym will give your life a discipline and of course an amazing physique.Make some good loyal genuine friends rather than getting into groups or gangs.If you are going to stay in university hostel, don't indulge into arguments with the hostel staff (if the need comes). Instead get help of a senior student or the wardens who are senior professors of the university so they'll help.And lastly, concentrate on studies first but keep all fun happening. You know what I mean. Booz, love affairs, bunking, etc. but remember your studies should be your first priority.You'll have good learning in AU.
