The placement of civil engineering department of VIT Vellore is more than 85%. 5 or 6 civil engineering core company visited every year for campus interview. The average salary of civil engineer is 3.5 lacs to 7.5 lacs per annum. However, the average package offered during VIT Vellore placements 2022 was INR 8.19 LPA (Lacs per annum). Based on the information I found, it is difficult to predict whether you will get CSE, IT or EC in a good Chennai college with 170.96 (OC) cut off for TNEA 2021. However, you can check the cut off trends of previous years for different colleges in Chennai to get an idea of the cut off required for admission. I hope this helps!
