Tamil Nadu Agricultural University has some top recruiters of the country visiting for placement rounds from Axis Bank, KPN Farms Fresh to AES Technologies. As per reports, the average placement packages have also increased every year resulting in a good streak. The placements at TMAU scale from INR 3.62 LPA to INR 5.32 LPA in different courses and disciplines. The medium package for UG courses is defined as INR 3.60 LPA and for PG courses INR 4.20 LPA. The students have also received at maximum of INR 7 LPA in placement rounds and as the lowest as INR 2.4 LPA, making the university an good for placements.

The TNAU the highest package has not been disclosed. However, the median package 2022 is available in the NIRF report 2023. During 2022 placements, the highest median package stood at INR 5.32 LPA and was offered to PG (2-year) students.
