Eligibility criteria for admission to B.E./B.Tech in Tamilnadu College of Engineering are: 10+2 with 50% aggregate (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and having Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational as compulsory subjects. Candidates have to appear for counselling in TNEA, which is the short form for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions. Cut-off marks for admission are: General category-145-197; BC category - 133-190; MBC category - 120-175; SC/ST category - 90-155.
