The eligibility criteria for MBA at Happy Valley Business School is that the candidate have Bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration with 50%. And the exams accepted by the business school are TANCET / CET. You cannot join with TANCET. Other eligibility criteria is that candidate who have completed 10 + 3 years Diploma +2/3 years pattern, or candidate who have completed 10 + 2 + AMIE + 2 Yrs of experience are also eligible to apply.

Every year, Anna University administers the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) to applicants for MBA and MCA programmes. Applicants can apply for admission to any of the more than 250 MBA colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu by taking the TANCET exam. Test results from the TANCET are accepted for admission to the MBA and MCA degree programmes given by university departments, constituent colleges of Anna University, Annamalai University, government and government-aided colleges, and self-financing colleges in Tamil Nadu.

No, you cannot get direct admission to any course at Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute. The institute follows a strict admission process based on the merit and entrance exams of the candidates. Yes, you can join SIMATS without TANCET, but you will need CAT/MAT/CMAT or any other valid score to join MBA. You cannot join MBA without entrance exams.  You must register for the TANCET exam and submit an application to colleges in Tamil Nadu that recognize TANCET scores for MBA admission if you want to pursue an MBA. Alternatively, you might apply to CAT/MAT programs and pursue MBA admission.
