Anna University does not release any dedicated window for TANCET application form correction. With the start of the registration process, Anna University publishes a PDF file wherein candidates can find the registration numbers that have an error with the uploaded photograph or signature.Candidates who get their names in the application status PDF will have to get the issues resolved by uploading the files again. Candidates may not get a window to edit errorful details filled at the time of TANCET registration.

The important dates for 2025 TANCET have not been released and expected to be released in January next year. If we talk about the 2024 dates, those were:-Registration:- 10 january to 15 february 2024.Issue of ticket:- 21 feb 2024.Exam:-9 March 2024.Results:-28 March 2024.The TANCET counselling process for MBA at this Institute has already been done. Although dates regarding that are not available. So for the next TANCET dates, you need to keep visiting the official website of the authorities which conduct this exam for the latest updates.

The TANCET examination is conducted through offline mode . Candidate have to answer the questions by marking the correct answer in their OMR sheet. To know more about the examination, refer to the official website or Shiksha.

Candidates filling the TANCET application form need to upload scanned images of photograph and signature in a pre defined format. While uploading images, candidates must follow the below mentioned specifications:
Image Upload Specifications for Photograph
Height - 300px
Width - 200px
File Size: Less than 50 KB
Format: JPG
Image Upload Specifications for Signature
Height - 70px
Width - 200px
File Size: Less than 11 KB
Format: JPG
Besides the photograph and signature, candidates who belong to a reserved community must upload the community/category Certificate in a PDF format.

Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai, conducts the TANCET counselling online. However, the Certificate verification round is conducted offline. Candidates completing the counselling registration are allotted a centre to appear for the Certificate verification round. During the document verification, officials at the centre will verify the documents, including the TANCET scorecard, and hall ticket. Candidates failing to produce any of the mandatory documents are not considered for the rank allotment. Further, such candidates are not allowed to participate in the choice filling process under TANCET counselling.

2) Checking TANCET rank list
3) Choice filling
4) Publication of tentative allotment
5) Confirming tentative allotment
6) Publication of provisional allotment
7) Supplementary counselling round
8) SCA to SC counselling
All candidates will be allowed to participate in the general counselling process only after the certificates are verified.

Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai, only considers TANCET percentile score. TANCET actual score is calculated by allotting 1 mark each for the correct response and deducting 1/3 mark for each incorrect response. The actual score can be converted into a percentile score after evaluating the total test takers with an actual score that is less than a particular test taker. For example, Mohan has an actual score of 59 marks, and 95% of the total test takers secured an actual score below 59. In such a case, the percentile score of Mohan will be 95.
