Business Situation Analysis and the other four sections of the TANCET MBA question paper will have 20 questions each. The section has two different passages. Candidates have to answer 10 questions after analysing the business situation presented in each passage. TANCET exam is considered moderate in terms of difficulty. For MBA exams, the difficulty standards is typically compared with the CAT exam. In comparison with the CAT difficulty level, TANCET is considered easy to crack. This is because the total number of test takers is less if compared to CAT exam, additionally, the difficulty level of the questions asked is easier than the CAT exam.

If a candidate has attempted around 80 out of the 100 questions with 80 to 85  accuracy, that is considered a  good attempt. However, the percentile score may vary depending upon the number of test takers and performance of all the candidates in the TANCET exam. Candidates must try to attempt all the questions where they know the answers and incorrect responses will also lead to deduction of marks, which in turn decreases the percentile score.
