The syllabus for CAT and TANCET are quite similar but has only one key difference. Though both exams cover the same core quantitative ability, verbal ability and reading comprehension, and data interpretation & logical reasoning sections. You can definitely use CAT study material for these sections in your TANCET preparation. However, TANCET has an additional section called "Analysis of Business Situations" which is not present in the CAT exam.

The institute accepts the MAT and CMAT among other national entrance exams for MBA admissions. To be eligible applicants must have a valid score from any of these tests.
