CMA is a person who performs services involving costing, pricing of goods and services, verification or certification of Cost Records and Taxation, especially in Indirect Taxation. Earlier only Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) Companies offered job to CMAs, but in the last few year's trends have changed. Now almost all enterprises/ companies show their interest in giving job to CMAs. Basically, your question is not clear. Still what I interpret is you are from commerce background and you want to go for B.Com along with some specialisation in taxation. So this can be done on your part. B.Com as for graduation is meant for commerce people interested in accounting and taxation and on that if you go for some specialisation in taxation that is going to be a good combination. You can also prepare for government exams of income tax authorities.

Hi Nikhitha,
Candidates are required to opt for Entrance or Merit mode of admission depending on their percentage in qualifying degree put against the minimum percentage criteria decided by the university for each mode separately. Admission to the students of the University of Delhi will be only on the basis of merit mode. Final Admission
Separate lists will be published for each category consisting of merit rank in qualifying exam or rank obtained in the entrance examination. University will approve the admission on submission of requisite documents and fees. For more information, click here:

Hi Anik!
If you have a bachelors degree in LLB, CA, CWA, only then you can apply for postgraduate diploma in taxation. B.Com candidates are not eligible.

If you have passed 10+2 from a recognized board, you can directly apply to the institute for admission. The fee for the course is Rs 25,000.

It covers the rules, policies and laws that oversee the tax process, which involves charges on estates, transactions, property, income, licenses and more by the government.
