Candidates who pursued Masters in Chemistry are eligible to appear in CSIR NET exam or the post of Assistant Professor. You should also check this:
M.Sc or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/BS-4 years/BE/B.Tech/B.Pharma/MBBS with at
least 55% marks for General (your) and OBC candidates and 50% for SC/ST, Persons with
Disability (PWD) candidates.
Candidates who pursued Masters in Chemistry are eligible to appear in CSIR NET exam or the post of Assistant Professor. You should also check this:

Hello,
Previously till July 2018, the National Eligibility Test was conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education. July 2018 Exam was conducted offline by CBSE. But in Dec 2018, the test was conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency). This was the first time when the UGC NET was fully Computer Based Test (CBT). The upcoming UGC NET Exam will be conducted in July 2019. The exam pattern will be the same as per the previous one. So, it will be conducted in online mode only. Important Note- UGC NET Exam Syllabus is revised for all the subjects. Candidates are advised to download the updated UGC NET Syllabus from the official website. I

Hello Rosey,As per the UGC Norms, the candidates can apply for their post-graduation subjects or its related subjects only. UGC NET is organized for the selection of the eligible candidates for the assistant professor post in the universities and junior fellowship for research. UGC NET exam is held more than 90 subjects and you can apply for your post graduate or its related subjects only. The UGC NET exam is held for more than 90 subjects for the selection of candidates for assistant professor posts and JRF in research. You can check official website to know how to download procedure of the certificate. After qualifying the UGC NET exam you will be exempted from any written exam for the selection and will be selected based on the personal interview. Hope it will help you. All the best.

As you done Masters in business economic group, you must apply for the UGC NET with commerce subject. The other options are UGC NET Economics and UGC NET Management. To appear for this examination, you must have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in postgraduation. Make sure you also meet with the other eligibility criteria to appear in the UGC NET like age norms. Preparing yourself to clear the NET Exam is going to be tough for you. The National Testing Agency will conduct NET exam in July 2019. The registration forms will be available in the month of March 2019.
