Hello, If you want to become a lecturer or researcher, you need to prepare for the UGC NET Exam and score well in the NET Exam. To appear for the NET Exam, you need to complete Masters in a subject with around 55% marks (50% marks for the reserved and the female candidates). The NET Exam is mainly conducted in more than 80 subjects in India including the commerce and management subject. Hello, First of all, congratulations on completing Masters in Forestry. Let me give you some important details regarding UGC NET Exam. UGC NET (University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test) is an exam through which candidates are selected for the post of Assistant Professor in various colleges and institutions of India and Junior Research Fellowship is also awarded to the deserving candidates. As you have done Masters in forestry, it will be good to select environment Science as a UGC NET subject. It's the only subject which meets with the syllabus of forestry subject.
