No because basical requirement is of Masters degree. Ao need to complete it with minimum marks as laid down. Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Masters Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science &Applications, Electronic Science etc. Are eligible for this Test. The Other Backward Classes (OBC) belonging to non-creamy layer/Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ persons with disability (PWD) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Masters degre

As you have completed your Master's degree in Biotechnology, which is a Science stream, then it will be beneficial for you to appear in CSIR NET Exam in Life Science subject. CSIR NET (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test) is conducted by CSIR for selecting the candidates for JRF and for Lectureship. The registration process for CSIR NET 2018 has been closed. The exam will be held on 17th June 2018. You will have to wait till the next examinations of CSIR NET. Till then keep practicing for the exam.

Hello Prakash,I appreciate your question for the UGC NET Exam. Well, if you have completed Masters in the given subject you are eligible to appear in the NET Exam. The NET Exam is conducted every year for the aspirants want to make career in the lectureship and Research programme. The NET Exam do not have any age limit if you are 35 years old you can appear in the NET Exam. The JRF Exam is conducted for the Scholarship programme where an aspirant who qualifies this exam is provided the scholarship worth INR 25000 per month. UGC NET is a national level entrance exam, which is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education. Through UGC NET candidates are selected for the Lectureship and for Junior Research Fellowship. GET more information for NET Exam from here - https://askhindi.com/question/what-is-ugc-net-exam/
